Since its first concert series in 2008, Clapham Chamber Concerts has established itself as an exciting and vibrant part of the Clapham community, providing Clapham residents with music making of the highest quality right on their doorstep. Founded by Amanda Lake and Jessica Maryon Davies, professional musicians and former pupils of local Heathbrook Primary School, the concerts take place in the heart of Clapham Old Town at St Paul’s Church, Rectory Grove.
Clapham Chamber Concerts remains dedicated to programming a wide range of chamber
repertoire including works by composers from Mozart to Mark Anthony Turnage. Highlights so far include a performance of Schubert’s Octet, a family concert featuring the Naiades Wind Quintet and friends, and an evening of music for ‘cello and piano accompanied by dance. Clapham Chamber Concerts also hosts an outstanding programme of workshops and children’s concerts.
